Enhanced Group Discovery

With so much communication flying around, it’s easy for important messages to get lost; targeted groups are a foundational feature of PSQ. Public groups offer a simple way to target the right families with the correct info—reducing noise, building trust, and giving parents the power to opt in to what matters most to them. It was time to review groups for improvement,

Launching this month, the new design improves organization, sorting, and filtering. Public groups are now also easier to find and join, allowing schools to target communication by using public groups, so parents can subscribe to what matters.

Attendance Plus

Nearly every district is facing rising absenteeism rates—but the real solution doesn’t start with more attendance reports. Here’s what the data shows 👇

Chronic absenteeism remains one of K–12’s biggest challenges, and while numbers help identify the problem, they don’t solve it.

What truly moves the needle is early, compassionate outreach that builds trust between schools and families.

When attendance becomes a shared conversation rather than a compliance checkbox, schools see measurable results: increased engagement, stronger relationships, and improved outcomes for students.

That’s why it’s exciting to see ParentSquare Attendance Plus recognized by the Learning Counsel as App of the Week, highlighting how schools are using proactive, data-informed communication to reduce absenteeism and improve student success.

It’s a shift from “Why weren’t you here?” to “How can we help you be here?”, and it’s changing how districts approach attendance and engagement altogether.

Student Leaders Driving Technology Adoption

StudentSquare is the student-facing companion to ParentSquare, providing middle and high school students with a secure platform to receive updates, communicate with teachers and advisors, and stay connected to school life—without relying on group texts, social apps, or tools lacking administrative oversight. Instead of conversations scattered across GroupMe, SportsU, and text chains, StudentSquare centralizes announcements, group messaging, and club/team communication in a platform that schools can manage and monitor.
